R&D in Energy Solutions

Arili Techniek B.V. is actively engaged in research and development for advanced energy solutions, focusing on hydrogen carrier fuels like ammonia and hybrid energy systems that integrate fuel cells with conventional electricity generation technologies.

Electricity Generation from Hydrogen Carrier Fuels

Ammonia is emerging as a promising hydrogen carrier due to its high energy density and ease of storage. Our R&D efforts explore its application in:

  • Micro Gas Turbines: Developing ammonia-fired turbines to generate electricity efficiently while minimizing emissions.
  • Fuel Cell Integration: Investigating ammonia-fed fuel cells for clean energy conversion, reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
  • Combustion Optimization: Enhancing ammonia combustion techniques to improve efficiency and reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions.

Hybrid Energy Packages

We are developing hybrid energy systems that combine fuel cells with conventional electricity generation methods, such as:

  • Micro Gas Turbines & Fuel Cells: Creating integrated solutions that leverage the strengths of both technologies for stable and efficient power generation.
  • Advanced Combustion Chambers: Designing combustion chambers optimized for new fuels, including ammonia-hydrogen blends, to improve thermal efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Our R&D initiatives aim to contribute to the transition toward cleaner energy sources, supporting industries in adopting sustainable and efficient power generation technologies.
